(In Canva, with my product photos uploaded) For each photo: remove the background and place the product on pure white (RGB 255,255,255), centered, filling about 85% of a 2000x2000 square. Don't change the product's color or shape. Export as JPG named [SKU]-main.

What they did
Evan Cohen runs Art Attack, a jewelry store on Amazon with about 700 active items, and founded the consulting firm MyEcomGuide. He told Modern Retail he has used Canva's AI tool to edit hundreds of product images over the previous three to four months, such as adding a white background.
How it went
Cohen says the edits used to take a graphic designer two to three weeks and now take a few minutes, and he no longer pays $5 per image just to add a white background. 'My costs have gone down. I'm able to list products a lot faster.'

Worth knowing
From a March 2024 news story, so the Canva tools have changed since. The same story quotes a brand founder warning that images should look real: 'You don't want it to look like it was developed by an AI.'
