Morning Report Building Replaced by Amazon Seller Assistant Dashboards
Stop downloading reports and building charts by hand every morning
“I'm getting back almost two hours every morning”
Per source From Amazon itself, not independently tested.
Copy-paste prompt
Each morning, give me one view with: yesterday's units and sales by ASIN vs the same day last week, days of supply for every ASIN under 30 days, inbound shipments and their status, and any ASIN whose conversion dropped more than 20% week over week. End with the three things my inventory team should look at first.
The source didn't publish its exact prompt. We wrote this starter so you can try the same workflow. Replace anything in [brackets].
What they did
Rebecca Quirk, director of Amazon for Wallaroo Hat Company, used to start each day downloading reports, building her own charts and walking them over to her inventory team. With the new Seller Assistant dashboards in Seller Central, her team pulls up the data themselves. The same Amazon article covers a stage demo by Richard Brown of Proof Culture, whose own assistant 'Lisa' uses the Selling Partner plugin to check whether a supplier cost increase and an upcoming demand spike hurt margin and stock.
How it went
Quirk says: 'I'm getting back almost two hours every morning,' and that her team now comes to her with suggestions. In Brown's demo, the assistant found margin would tighten and stock would run short at peak, recommended pricing changes on two SKUs and drafted the inbound shipment.
We only report what the source says. Results are self-reported unless noted.
Worth knowing
Published by Amazon about its own tools, with seller quotes taken at Amazon's Accelerate conference, and the Brown example is a stage demo. Quirk's time saving is the first-hand part.
