Four Wasted Ad Spend Audits with the Helium 10 MCP
Find clicks without sales, loss-making targets and bad hours in an ad account
“$8,500 in spend with no sales”
Per source From the tool's vendor, not independently tested.
Copy-paste prompt
Check my advertising campaigns. Using a 12-month look-back period, tell me if there are any search terms or ASINs in auto or broad campaigns that have more than 20 clicks and no sales. Give it to me in a table that shows which campaigns they're in, how many clicks, and how much spend. Using the same look-back period, also show me any targets in any campaign type that have more than 20 clicks and no sales.

What they did
Helium 10's VP of Education ran four prompts through the Helium 10 MCP (used from Claude or ChatGPT) on one of Helium 10's own Amazon accounts, which earns roughly $500,000 to $1 million a year and already runs 60-day bid rules: auto and broad terms with 20+ clicks and no sales over 60 days, the same over 12 months plus every target type, active targets above 100% ACOS with suggested bids, and a day-parting analysis by hour and weekday.
How it went
The 60-day check found $146 across 4 broad match terms. The 12-month version found 190 targets, roughly 9,000 clicks, and $8,500 in spend with no sales. Nine targets above 100% ACOS had $815 in spend, and day parting flagged $2,600 in spend in poor hours. Together the audits pointed to more than $15,000 in savings and extra sales, or about $10,000 assuming only half is acted on.

Worth knowing
Helium 10 demonstrating its own MCP on its own account. The point that a 12-month look-back catches slow leaks a 60-day rule never trips is useful on its own. The post itself says to confirm counts and spend before acting.
