Build me a simple purchase tracker for my Amazon resale business. I want to log each sourcing buy with: date, source, item, quantity, cost per unit, shipping and tax, and the ASIN I plan to sell it under. Show running totals per month and a list of items bought but not yet sent to FBA. Keep the data in a file I own and let me export it as CSV. Start with the smallest version and ask me before adding features.

The source didn't publish its exact prompt. We wrote this starter so you can try the same workflow. Replace anything in [brackets].

What they did

An Amazon reseller was paying $39 a month for a Google Sheet that logs what they buy for resale (they source on eBay). They built their own purchase tracker app with Claude that does exactly what they need.

How it went

The author calls it a small win that's '$468 a year back.'

Worth knowing

A short post: it doesn't say which features the app has or how long it took to build.
