Seasonal Lifestyle Backgrounds with Adobe Photoshop AI
Add seasonal and lifestyle backgrounds to existing product photos
“'If I was getting 1,000 views before, I'm easily getting 2,500 or more now.'”

Copy-paste prompt
(Photoshop Generative Fill or a similar AI editor, on my existing product photo) Keep the product pixels exactly as they are. Replace only the background with: [a cozy living room at Christmas, soft warm light, a decorated tree out of focus]. Match the lighting and add a natural shadow under the product. Make 3 versions.

What they did
Teajai Kimsey, founder of Cheerdocious (handcrafted stuffed animals and home decor, on Amazon and its own site), had no lifestyle images for about four years. She started using Adobe Photoshop's AI tools to add seasonal backgrounds, such as Christmas scenes behind her stuffed animals to show they make good gifts, and lifestyle images showing her home decor in a room. She also uses AI for product descriptions.
How it went
She told Modern Retail her product views doubled: 'If I was getting 1,000 views before, I'm easily getting 2,500 or more now.'

Worth knowing
She changed images and descriptions together, so the views can't be credited to images alone. From a March 2024 news story; the same story has Natural Events adding Santa hats and Christmas trees to existing photos of its palm leaf plates instead of paying for a seasonal photoshoot.
