What they did
Amazon's built-in gen AI listing tools create listings from a few words, an image or a website URL, and Enhance My Listing suggests updates to live titles, attributes and descriptions that sellers can accept, edit or decline. C&M Personal Gifts used the tools on its personalized-glassware catalog.
How it went
C&M's founders say they 'created about 300 listings with the tool, and they're more discoverable and shoppable than ever.' In a separate quote, the co-owner says they redid the entire catalog before Christmas and 'had a great holiday season.' Amazon reports 900,000+ sellers have used the tools, accepting the output with little or no edits about 90% of the time.
We only report what the source says. Results are self-reported unless noted.
Worth knowing
All figures and quotes come from Amazon. TechCrunch notes the 90% acceptance rate is 'not necessarily an endorsement of the tools' accuracy.' Access is in Seller Central: Manage All Inventory → Edit Listing → Enhance My Listing.
Copy-paste prompt
(Use inside Seller Central.) Before accepting Enhance My Listing suggestions, paste the old and suggested versions into any AI assistant and ask: "Compare my current Amazon listing with Amazon's suggested version. List every factual claim in the suggestion and mark any I did not provide or can't verify. Then tell me which changes improve keyword coverage and which only change wording."
The source didn't publish its exact prompt. We wrote this starter so you can try the same workflow. Replace anything in [brackets].
