Keyword Gap Discovery with Claude for Amazon Sellers
What they did
Using two Claude skills he wrote (organic-traffic-scout and amazon-keyword-listing), the seller reverse-looked-up three competitors' catalogues and the keywords they rank and bid on. He found compound '-cessories' terms carrying organic traffic that no top seller was bidding on, and moved the product to a less competitive category where buyers were already searching (Toys & Games instead of Jewelry).
How it went
He reports sessions went from 558 to 981, units from 52 to 131, and conversion from 9.32% to 13.35%.
We only report what the source says. Results are self-reported unless noted.
Worth knowing
The category change was part of the result, so the gain isn't from keywords alone. Check category rules before recategorizing.
Copy-paste prompt
Here are the keywords my top 3 competitors rank for organically and the ones they bid on: [paste both lists, with search volume]. 1. List high-volume terms with real organic traffic that none of them bid on. 2. Group those terms by shopper language (aesthetic/style words vs product nouns). 3. Tell me which of these terms my current title, bullets and backend terms miss, and draft a revised title and backend terms that cover the top gaps.
The source didn't publish its exact prompt. We wrote this starter so you can try the same workflow. Replace anything in [brackets].
