Client Context Files So Claude Judges PPC Against Real Goals
Stop AI flagging a ranking campaign as a failure because it doesn't know the goal
“saves them about 80 hours a week”

Copy-paste prompt
Before reviewing any numbers, read the attached client notes and emails and write a one-line goal for each campaign (ranking, defence, profit, launch) with its target ACOS or TACoS. Then review last 30 days' performance against those goals, not against a single ACOS target. List campaigns where the goal is unclear instead of guessing.
The source didn't publish its exact prompt. We wrote this starter so you can try the same workflow. Replace anything in [brackets].
What they did
On That Amazon Ads Podcast, the hosts showed five ways they use Claude for Amazon PPC through their AdLabs MCP. The first is a context manager: Claude reads a client's emails and call notes from the past 12 months and fills in what each campaign is for before it reviews any numbers.
How it went
With the context loaded, a ranking campaign running at 100% ACOS is read as doing its job instead of being flagged as bad. They also ran a live report from a prompt and claim the setup saves them about 80 hours a week.
We only report what the source says. Results are self-reported unless noted.
Worth knowing
The hosts build AdLabs, so this is a vendor demo and the hours figure is theirs. The context step works without their tool: write down each campaign's goal (rank, defend, profit) and give it to the AI before you ask it to judge performance.
