Copy-paste prompt
Design a weekly n8n workflow for my Amazon [Vendor Central] account: - SP-API: request the [GET_VENDOR_SALES_REPORT] for last week, poll until DONE, download and decompress it; - Amazon Ads API: campaign report for the same week (sales, spend, impressions, clicks, orders, CPC); - roll child ASINs up to parent using the mapping in the 'Parents' tab; - update the existing rows in my sheet [name] where the week-start date matches (don't append duplicates); - email me a summary table every Monday at 6:00.
The source didn't publish its exact prompt. We wrote this starter so you can try the same workflow. Replace anything in [brackets].
What they did
An automation shop built a weekly n8n workflow for an Amazon Vendor Central brand. It pulls shipped revenue, cost of goods, units and returns from the Selling Partner API, ad sales, spend, impressions, clicks, orders and CPC from the Amazon Ads API, and best seller rank and reviews from Jungle Scout. Child ASINs are rolled up into their parents, and the numbers are written into the sheet the team already used by updating rows whose dates are already there.
How it went
The team used to log into three dashboards every Monday and copy numbers into a spreadsheet by hand. Now a formatted report lands by email at 6am, with weekly and monthly account views plus 21 product tabs. Vendor reports arrive GZIP-compressed, so the workflow carries its own decoder written in plain JavaScript.
We only report what the source says. Results are self-reported unless noted.
Worth knowing
An agency's portfolio page, so it describes what was built rather than what it changed for sales. The useful pattern is writing into the sheet the team already uses, matched on pre-filled dates, so nothing is duplicated when a run repeats.
