Daily Price, Stock and Buy Box Watch with Off-Amazon Checks in an n8n Template
Get a morning Slack brief when a watched ASIN's price, stock or Buy Box seller changes
Template only.
Per source A published workflow template, not a reported result.
Copy-paste prompt
For each flagged product below, write a Slack brief under 200 words using only these numbers: ASIN, yesterday vs today price, stock status change, Buy Box seller yesterday vs today, cheapest Google Shopping offer (seller, price). Lead with any product where the Buy Box moved to another seller. Don't guess causes.
The source didn't publish its exact prompt. We wrote this starter so you can try the same workflow. Replace anything in [brackets].
What they did
An n8n template by Daniel Shashko runs every morning on a watchlist of Amazon product URLs. Bright Data's Amazon scraper collects price, stock, seller, rating and rank; the workflow compares each product with its last snapshot in a Google Sheets history tab and flags price moves past your thresholds, stock flips and Buy Box seller changes. For flagged products it checks Google Shopping through Bright Data's SERP API for cheaper new-condition offers, then an OpenAI model writes a brief of under 200 words for Slack.
How it went
Template only. Each run appends a full snapshot to the history tab, which becomes the baseline for the next day's comparison.
We only report what the source says. Results are self-reported unless noted.
Worth knowing
This is a published workflow template, not a reported result: nobody in the source says what it did for their sales. Read the template's setup steps and test it on one account before you rely on it. Watch your own ASINs as well as competitors': a Buy Box seller change on your own listing is the alert that matters most.
