First 30 Days with Claude Code and SP-API (Five Starter Builds)
Set up Claude Code with your Seller Central data and build five starter tools

Copy-paste prompt
Build me a Python script that connects to Amazon SP-API and pulls: yesterday's ordered revenue and units from the Sales API, any ASINs with fewer than 14 days of inventory from FBA Inventory Planning, and my top 5 campaigns by spend from yesterday using the Amazon Ads API. Output a clean summary to the terminal. Read my credentials from a .env file in the same directory.

What they did
A step-by-step guide from the Selling From the Beach newsletter for sellers who don't code: install Claude Code in VS Code, write a CLAUDE.md file by letting Claude interview you about your business, register as a private SP-API developer and self-authorize, then build five tools with given prompts: a morning health check, a listing quality checker, a review analyzer, a PPC bid checker and a keyword rank tracker.
How it went
A guide, not a reported result. The authors put setup at about 30 minutes and the five builds at a few hours over the first month. They warn about the common mistakes: not saving the AWS secret key when it's shown, skipping self-authorization (no refresh token), and hitting SP-API rate limits.
We only report what the source says. Results are self-reported unless noted.
Worth knowing
They note that review and organic rank data may need scraping or a third-party source, and that Claude Code should flag terms-of-service issues.
