Before you do anything in my Amazon seller account:
1. Use only the Amazon APIs and connected seller tools I've authorized, not the Seller Central website, unless I tell you otherwise.
2. If any Amazon page or API says the request is blocked, unauthorized, or that an AI agent isn't allowed, stop immediately, don't retry or work around it, and send me the exact message.
3. Keep a log of every change you make so I can show Amazon what the agent did.

The source didn't publish its exact prompt. We wrote this starter so you can try the same workflow. Replace anything in [brackets].

What they did

A seller with ALS, a full quadriplegic who cannot click through Seller Central himself, used Grok Bot to maintain his seller accounts until Amazon blocked it. He points to the Agent Policy Amazon added to its Business Solutions Agreement on March 4, 2026: Amazon may restrict AI agents that access its services, and agents have to identify themselves as automated systems, follow the policy, and stop if Amazon tells them to.

How it went

Amazon blocked the bot. His plan is to ask Amazon for a reasonable accommodation first, an exception that lets him keep using the bot because of his disability, with an ADA lawsuit 'the last step, not the first.' In a later post (Oct 29) he says Grok Bot maintains his Amazon seller and KDP listings and handles his Shopify store; he doesn't say how access was restored.

We only report what the source says. Results are self-reported unless noted.

Worth knowing

He isn't alone. On Oct 14 another seller posted that Seller Central, Vendor Central and Ads were blocking their bots as an unauthorized AI agent. Several sellers in this directory connect Grok Bot through Amazon's APIs or seller tools instead of the Seller Central website. Don't ask a bot to get around a block.
