A+ Content First-Draft Copy with Claude in an Agency Workflow for Amazon Sellers
What they did
An Amazon agency describes its 8-step A+ rebuild process, where AI is used in exactly one step. With a strategy brief (keyword tiers, conversion baseline, target customer, competitor A+) and a one-page brand voice profile loaded, Claude drafts module headers, body copy, image alt text and comparison-chart row labels. The instructions: stay inside the voice profile, use the Tier 1 keywords naturally, don't invent product claims, and flag any module where the brief is too thin. A creative lead then edits, a designer builds, the brand approves, and rule checks run on character limits and attributes.
How it went
The agency reports the Claude draft saves the creative lead roughly 6 to 10 hours per A+ rebuild, and that about 80% of the AI output gets edited (voice, claims, keyword stuffing, module order, brand vocabulary). Across 12 months of rebuilds it reports a median +11% conversion lift on the parent ASIN at 30 days, rising to as much as +18% by 90 days. That lift is for the whole rebuild, not the AI step alone.
We only report what the source says. Results are self-reported unless noted.
Worth knowing
Agency-reported numbers with no named clients. They tested AI image generation for A+ and dropped it: brand approval was below 30%, against about 95% for real photography.
Copy-paste prompt
You are drafting Amazon A+ Content copy. Use only the inputs below. Strategy brief: [keyword tiers, target customer, competitor A+ notes] Brand voice profile: [sentence length, vocabulary level, words we use, words we never use] Approved claims list: [paste] For each module, write the header, body copy, image alt text and (if there's a comparison chart) row labels. Use Tier 1 keywords naturally, once each at most. Use no claim that isn't on the approved list. If the brief doesn't give enough detail for a module, write FLAG and say what's missing instead of guessing.
